The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the N edge of a slight plateau. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP 1996). A raised circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.7m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.2-4.7m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 1-1.3m) SE-NW which is incorporated into a field bank NE-SW and reduced to a scarp (max. H 2.5m) NW-NE. There is no visbile fosse or original entrance, but there are traces of facing stones on the bank. A souterrain (CL033-051002-) is in the perimeter at W, and another souterrain (CL033-051003-) is towards the centre of the site.
