The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the top of the NE-facing slope of a hill. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.7m NE-SW; 31m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown, flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 4-5m; Wth of top 1.5m; int. H 0.8-1.2m; ext. H 2.2-2.6m) SW-N, which is incorporated into a road bank W-N and accompanied by a fosse (Wth of base 1.5-4.2m; D 0.9-1.1m) S-W. The perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9-1.7m) N-SW, and there is a broad entrance ramp (Wth 6m) at ENE.
