The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise on the floor of an E-W valley. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 25m) on the 1828 and 1921 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. A D-shaped grass-covered area (32m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) defined by a slight scarp (max. H 0.5m) NE-SW.
