The National Monuments Service's description

A possible cross-base, described by Macalister (1916-17, 145, no. 1) as a ‘socket-stone’ (H 0.24m [9.5in]; 0.2m [8in] square, tapering to 0.12m [5in] square). The socket is not described. Although Macalister noted the stone at the N wall of St. Caimin’s church (CL029-009011-) the present location is not known.
