The National Monuments Service's description

In a level expanse of raised bog with reasonable views of the surrounding countryside. This possible enclosure was identified as an oval variation in vegetation growth on Bing satellite imagery (https://binged.it/2mXNhyD, Accessed 6 March 2017). It comprises a distinct ring (Wth c. 1m) of heather forming an oval area (16m ESE-WNW; 18m NNW-SSE) which is up to c. 0.1m taller than the surrounding bog. This ring of heather is distinct from the surrounding vegetation of bog cotton, bog asphodel and lower growth of heather. The interior is level and is much like the vegetation of the exterior, except there is noticeably less heather.
