The National Monuments Service's description

On the E-facing slope of a hillock. Hachured as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1840 OS 6-inch map abutting the townland boundary with Ballymaconna at NE. An oval grass-covered area (dims. 34m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.5m) and with a small area of rock outcrop H 0.5m) visible in the E sector. A cashel (CL026-044----) is on higher ground c. 55m to the SW.
