The National Monuments Service's description

On slightly raised ground in an undulating landscape. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). A circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 48m N-S; 47m E-W; 48m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m at E to Wth 11-14m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.6-1.1m generally) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9m) SSE-SW. There is a souterrain (CL026-017002-) inside the perimeter at SSW.
