The National Monuments Service's description

This graveyard associated with the Augustinian priory (CL026-014001-) is irregular in shape (c. 25m N-S; c. 35m E-W). Burials are marked by slabs, headstones and unmarked stones, with none earlier than the mid-19th century. The graveyard wall which extends E from the SE angle of the transept of the abbey has a late pointed chamfered doorway (Wth 1.12m; H 1.57m). (Westropp 1900, 135; 1900-02, 146)
