The National Monuments Service's description
A well-maintained graveyard, roughly triangular in shape (110m E-W on the straight S side; curved elsewhere c. 100m NE-SW with the apex at N) surrounding Templemaley church (CL025-213001-), defined by a double-faced masonry wall on all sides except S where there is an iron railing. The graveyard has several 18th/19th century chest tombs, some uninscribed headstones and two crudely carved, possibly early crosses. It is still used for burial. The entrance may incorporate a coffin-resting stone. Archaeological testing (09E0553) by Graham Hull in advance of a graveyard extension failed to produce any related material (Excavations 2009, 24, No. 86).
