The National Monuments Service's description

In a quarry in an undulating area. Hachured on the 1840 and 1920 OS 6-inch maps as a rath. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1999 a half-removed mound of topsoil and stones was noted (diam. at base 26m; H 4-6m) but there were no visible remains of an archaeological monument.
