The National Monuments Service's description

Lying recumbent in the NE corner of Ruan Church (CL025-070001-). A slightly tapering graveslab (L 1.71m; Wth at top 0.58m; Wth at base 0.46m; T 0.07m) with a raised Latin cross, oriented E-W with the head to W.The name 'Edmond O'Keren' is inscribed sideways in capital letters above the left arm of the cross. The N of O'Keren is written backwards.
