The National Monuments Service's description

Mounted sideways on a vault behind Ruan church (CL025-070001-). A slab with an inscription that reads ‘IHS / Ma /Mort O_Grifuh / Pro se et Hered / Fiere Fecit / MDC43’ which translates as ‘Jesus / Mary / Mort.O_Griffy [Mortimer O’Griffy]/ for him and his heirs /1643’.
