The National Monuments Service's description

On level improved pasture overlooked by a higher, overgrown karst plateau to E. Hachured on the first edition (1842) of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (est. diam. c. 30m), probably a ringfort. Its outline is also indicated on the later OS 25-inch plan (1897) and on the Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. Not listed in the RMP (1996). Its perimeter is partially visible in shadow on DigitalGlobe aerial imagery (2011-2013) as a low curving scarp traceable WNW-N-NE. A cashel (CL017-022----) lies c. 55m to the NE.
