The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on the S-facing slope of a NE-SW ridge, flanked by marshy ground to the NW and SE. Hachured on both the first (1842) and Cassini (1916) editions OS 6-inch map. Classified as an enclosure in the RMP (1996). A small subcircular cashel (int. diams. 19.3m NW-SE; 17.9m NE-SW) is defined by a drystone wall (Wth 0.5-0.6m, H c. 0.4m), with no obvious entrance. The enclosure is incorporated into a later field boundary wall from NE-SE-SW.
