In sheltered pasture surrounded by overgrowth, with higher ground to N and S and a S-flowing stream c. 50m to the E. This poorly preserved enclosure is defined by a double-faced drystone stone wall (Wth 2.2-2.5m; int. H 0.6-0.7m; ext. H 0.5m) which survives only from SSW to SW. The facing-stones are rough and irregular. From ESE to SSE, a stony bank/scarp (int. H 0.7-1m) defines the enclosed area. At the top of this scarp at SSE, two large blocks appear to be the inner and outer facing-stones of a wall (int. H 0.4m; Wth c. 2.2m) which is overgrown here externally. At ESE, a broad stony bank (Wth 4.2m; H 0.8m) runs N (L 20m) from the edge of the enclosure and continues N towards Ballyportry Castle [CL017-084002-] and was possibly associated with it.
