The National Monuments Service's description
In dense hazel woodland in undulating, E-facing land. Hachured on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This densely overgrown and poorly preserved subcircular cashel (int. diam. 24.5m NE-SW; ext. diam. 36.5m NE-SW) is defined by a band of wall collapse (Wth 6m; H 0.6-0.8m) in which facing-stones can be seen very intermittently. There is a hut site (CL017-074002-) at the centre. A barely visible entrance (Wth 1.8m) is at the SW. There is a modern subrectangular cairn (L c. 6m; Wth c. 2m; H c. 1m) 6m to the SW of the cashel. Later drystone walls overlie the cashel perimeter from SW to NE and from NE to SE.
