The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight W-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This tree-covered subcircular rath (int. dims. 27.8m E-W; 26.3m N-S; ext. dims. 35m E-W; 34.4m N-S) is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.4m; int. H 0-0.8m; ext. H 0.3-0.5m) which is reduced to an external scarp (H 0.6m) at the W. A double-faced wall (Wth 1-2m; H 0.5-1m) is built along the top of the bank, and wall collapse is spread over the bank. This wall is incorporated into a field wall which runs E-W over the N edge of the rath.
