The National Monuments Service's description

At the W end of an E-W running ridge in pasture, with land falling away immediately to the S and c. 50m to the N. Hachured and named ‘Tullan Fort’ on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This poorly preserved, tree-covered subcircular cashel (int. dims. 34.8m NW-SE; ext. dims. 38.8m NW-SE) has been truncated by a field wall at the SW. Elsewhere it is defined by a stone wall (Wth 2m at SE), which at the NW runs along the edge of a scarp (H 1m; Wth 3.5m). Occasional facing-stones are visible around the perimeter. Just to the S of the centre is a line of upright slabs (6m N-S).
