The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in undulating pastureland. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This subcircular enclosure (c. 33m N-S; c 30m E-W) was not visible at ground level during an inspection in 1998, but can be traced in later orthophotography (OSi MapGenie 2013-2018) where it is defined by a levelled, grass-covered scarp/bank that is most clear from SSE to SSW. This enclosure was located near the S interior of a mid-19th century racecourse (CL017-202001-), the circuit of which ran E-W c. 120m to the S of this enclosure.
