The National Monuments Service's description
On the SW-facing slope of a knoll in undulating mixed karst and pasture. Hachured on both the first (1842) and Cassini (1920) editions of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This poorly preserved cashel (int. diam. 24m NW-SE) is defined from NE-E-S by a double-faced stone wall (Wth 1.8m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H c. 0.8m) and moss-covered collapsed walling (combined Wth 4m). Inner and outer facing-stones are visible intermittently. Elsewhere, the wall has been removed, its line overlain by a later drystone wall from S-W-NW and by a single course of drystone wall from NW-N-NE. Near the cashel’s centre is a subcircular area of sunken stone collapse (diam. 3m; D 0.5m) with rubble accumulated around its S edge. This may be a natural depression or cave, or possibly a souterrain. There is an enclosure (CL017-238----) c. 65m to the SW.
