The National Monuments Service's description

At the W edge of a ridge in pasture, with land sloping down to S, W and, more gradually, to N. This is a low, subcircular (7m N-S; 4.8m E-W; H 0.2-0.8m), flat-topped and grass-covered mound. There are several levelled field boundaries nearby, including one 11m to the W which is visible as a W-facing scarp (L 20m) running N-S. Connected with this is another scarp which runs E-W, c. 36m N of the mound. A third scarp also runs E-W, c. 55m N of the mound. There is a modern E-W running field boundary nearby to the S. Killinaboy medieval church (CL017-020001-) lies c. 48m to the E.
