The National Monuments Service's description
In fairly level, ‘improved’ pasture. Hachured on both the first (1842) and Cassini (1920) editions of the OS 6-inch map. Found to have been levelled when inspected in 1998. The monument is visible in satellite imagery (MapGenie Imagery 1995; MapGenie Digital Globe 2011-2013; MapGenie Imagery 2013-2018) as a subcircular enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 37m E-W) defined by traces of a broad levelled bank (Wth c. 10m).
Equally regrettably, a mound (CL017-017001-) recorded on the OS only c. 10m to the WNW has also been levelled.
