The National Monuments Service's description
At the E edge of a NE-SW ridge (above the 500’ contour) in mixed rough pasture and exposed limestone pavement, from where the ground slopes down immediately to the E. Identified by Westropp (1905, 215, site A). Listed as ‘Wedge tomb (possible)’ in the RMP (1996). This wedge tomb (L 1.6m; int. Wth 0.6m at WSW, narrowing to 0.58m at ENE) is orientated ENE-WSW, and comprises two almost parallel slabs (L 1.4-1.6m; H 0.4-0.45m) set on edge, protruding from the centre of a grass-covered cairn (6.4m E-W; 5.3m N-S; H 0.4-0.6m) with possible kerbstones visible at the S. the monument is incorporated into a grass-covered field wall running NW-SE.
