At the top edge of a S-facing slope in a field of fertile pasture in hilly grassland with undrained ground in the lower slopes and with good views to the S. A circular barrow (diam. 8.5m crest to crest) defined by a low, earth and stone bank (max. Wth 4.25m at base; Wth 2.9m at E; max. int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) at the E, S and W and a scarp at the N on higher ground. The interior is dished with no definite inner edge. The perimeter is slightly overgrown but clearly visible and has small gaps.
