The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight E-facing slope in pasture and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). A circular enclosure (int. dims. 22.2m N-S; 18.6m E-W) defined by slight stony rise (Wth 1.4-4.2m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.1-0.8m). Inner and outer facing-stones are visible at N and S. There is no trace of an entrance or fosse. A roughly triangular-shaped mound (11m N-S; max. Wth 4.8m E-W; H 0.3m), widening from N to S, is visible in the E half of the grass-covered interior. Possibly a cashel. A possible enclosure lies c. 44m to the NNW.
