The National Monuments Service's description

Associated with a crannog (CL016-069001-), c. 60m to the NNE, in Lickeen Lough and located at the nearest point on the shoreline from it. This possible causeway (L c. 4m; Wth c. 2.5m) is constructed of flagstones and rocks and is visible below the surface of the water for a short distance before it disappears (Crumlish 1996). It probably accessed the crannog.
