The National Monuments Service's description

On a SW-facing slope along a NE-SW mound wall that forms part of an extensive field system (CL017-180---). A low, oval, grass-covered mound (5m E-W; 3.4m N-S; H c. 0.4m) with some large friable stones (c. 0.2m by 0.2m) on the surface. A later enclosure immediately to the NW likely overlies the fulacht fia and abuts the adjacent cairn (CL016-057001-) to the NE. Another cairn (CL016-058----) is located c. 100m to the NNE. (Jones and Walsh 1996, 90)
