The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle S-facing slope in a field of pasture. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A roughly circular cashel (ext. dims. 26m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) defined by a spread of stones (Wth c. 2m; H 0.5m) which may be a collapsed drystone wall with inner and outer wall-facings visible. The wall is best preserved at the NW, NE and SW (Wth 1.8m; H 0.3-1.4m). A gated gap in the NNE and gaps in the NE, ESE, S and SSW are later.
