The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a spur extending WSW from a shelf at the base of Ballyganner hill. An oval enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a bank with a subcircular house site (CL016-020043-)(diam. c. 7m) in the centre visible on OS ortho aerial photographs and on Bing maps at http://binged.it/188d5ze; accessed 10 March 2015. A cashel (CL016-020012-) lies slightly upslope c. 30m to the E. Both the cashel and the enclosure are within a large field system (CL009-059001-/CL016-020001*).
