The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight rise at the base of a S-facing slope, c. 20m to the E of a N-S running road; within a field system (CL009-059001-).
A circular grass-covered cairn (base dims. 15.5m N-S; 15.4m E-W; H. 1.4-1.6m); a spread of moss-covered stones on top of it appears to be field-clearance material (diam. 4.7m-6m) that was subsequently added. The cairn was retained by a kerb (11.8m N-S; 10.8m E-W) and a number of kerbstones, visible c. 2m from its outer limits, protrude intermittently from the grass cover between NW and ENE, and particularly between SE and SW where a line of eight or nine stones is visible. A large stone (dims. L 1.2m; Wth 0.9m; H 0.9m) projects from the base at W and three others stones project from it between NE and ESE. A number of old grassed-over field walls extend off the cairn at W and N and some clearance cairns are visible in its vicinity. A hut site (CL016-020034-) is located c. 30m to the SSE.
