The National Monuments Service's description

At the bottom of an E-W running ravine and overlooked by higher ground to the N and S; within a field system (CL009-059001-).
This court tomb is ruined and the surviving remains consist of an unroofed two-chambered gallery, aligned E-W and opening to the E, surrounded by an oval cairn. The E chamber (L 2.3m) is defined by two sidestones on the N and S sides and it narrows from E (Wth 1.7m) to W (Wth c. 1.5m). Two pointed transversely set jambstones (N stone: L 0.5m; Wth 0.4m; H 0.8m; S stone: L 0.5m; Wth 0.4m; H 1m), set 0.5m apart, mark the division between the two chambers. The W chamber (L 2.05m) is defined by at least one sidestone on the N side and two on its S side. The N side may have continued further to the W (est. L 1m). This chamber also narrows from E (Wth 1.8m) to W (Wth 1.5m). A small circular cairn (diam. c. 2m) to the W of the chamber may be a collection of cairn material. The cairn (dims. 11m E-W; 7.6-9.5m N-S; H c. 1m) itself widens to towards the W. No trace of the court survives. An N-S running field wall crosses the E limits of the cairn. This court tomb is one of five recorded in the county (see also CL008-002001-, CL009-059063-, CL016-170---- and CL017-180007-). A cashel (CL016-020026-) lies c. 95m to the SSW. (Coffey 1988, 50)
