The National Monuments Service's description
On a S-facing slope on an E-W ridge overlooking a ravine with good views to the E and W and within an extensive field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A subcircular area (dims. 25.9m NNW-SSE; 25.6m ENE-WSW) defined by a grass- and scrub-covered stone spread (Wth 3-4.5m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.4-0.7m) and by a later drystone wall from NW to NNE. The outer wall-face is intermittently visible from SSW to NW as a single course of large stones (L 1m; Wth 0.6m; H 0.2m). Modern gaps in the perimeter at NE (Wth 2m) and WNW (Wth 1.6m) allow transit and a gap at SE facilitates animal access. The interior is overgrown with grass and scrub.
