The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy pasture on a round-topped hillock, immediately E of a stream overlooked by higher ground to the E, S and N. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 eds. of the OS 6-inch map with the surrounding land marked ‘liable to floods’. An oval enclosure (62m E-W; 49m N-S) defined by a lip (H 0.1m), which may be the remains of a bank, and an earthen scarp (H 0.7-1.3m). An entrance gap with a causeway accessed by a modern gate is present at the E. No features are visible in the interior although the centre is slightly higher than the perimeter.
