The National Monuments Service's description
In marshy pasture on top of a low rise with good views. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). A circular rath (diam. 44m SW-NE) defined by a low earthen bank (H 0.25-0.6m; Wth 5-6m) with traces of an outer fosse (Wth 2-3m) at E. One of two gaps (Wth 2m) at the NW may indicate a former entrance. The interior is level and featureless. An overgrown stone wall extends WSW-ENE across the N half of the monument.
