The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of a prominent hill flanked by streams to the N and S, in undulating pasture with excellent views in all directions. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). A subcircular rath (40m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an intermittently visible earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; H 0.25m) reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m) in places. Along the E there are traces of a surrounding berm (Wth 2m) and an outer scarp (H 1m). The interior is highest at the centre with no visible internal features. Field boundaries run across the W and S edges of the monument.
