The National Monuments Service's description

On a N-facing slope in poorly drained pasture with higher ground to E and S. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. A rath (23.25m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 2-2.1m; int. H 0.2-0.25m; ext. H 0.8-1.3m) visible from SE to NW and reduced to a scarp at NE (ext. H 1.1m), encircled by a flat-based fosse (Wth 1-1.3m; ext. H 0.2m). A gap at the S (Wth 1.4m) is modern while a causeway at NNE (Wth 1.4m) may be original. The bank has been partially robbed out at the W. The interior slopes gently to the N and is featureless and clear of excess vegetation. A field drain runs along the N perimeter of the site.
