The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in an area of cleared and drained fertile pasture. Listed as ‘House – 17th century, possible’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Referred to as either 17th or 18th century by Weir (1986, 100). On inspection in 1998 a modern bungalow was noted on the site and no evidence of the earlier house was found.
