The National Monuments Service's description
In improved damp pasture on a S-facing slope 80m NW of a stream. Hachured on the 1916 ed. OS 6-inch maps. A subcircular bivallate rath (c. 49.5m E-W) comprising an oval platform (18m N-S; 15m E-W) defined by a low scarp (H 0.1m) from N to W, a fosse (Wth 5m; D 1m) at NW and a berm (Wth 9m) to N and W defined by a scarp (H 0.25m). Ortho photography (OS MapGenie 2013-2018) shows that the berm fully encircled the monument. The interior is levelled, flat and featureless. A modern field wall run NE-SW across the N half of the monument, and cultivation ridges are visible in its interior.
