The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy pasture, near the top of a gentle S-facing rise with extensive views to S and E, truncated by conifer plantations to W. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 eds. OS 6-inch maps. A subcircular rath (36.5m N-S; 40.5m E-W) defined by a scarp from N to S and traces of an inner bank (ext. H 0.3-0.55m; Wth 2m) at W, a flat-based fosse (Wth 4-5m; ext. H 0.35-0.6m), and an outer bank (Wth 3-3.25m; ext. H 0.25-0.6m). At ENE a causeway (Wth 1.75m) crosses the fosse. The interior (24.5m N-S; 24m E-W) is slightly dished and its northern half is overgrown. At S and W later earthen field boundaries overlie the outer bank of the rath.
