The National Monuments Service's description
On a NW-facing slope in an area of open karst on the N extent of a raised area with a lower reclaimed area immediately to the N. A subrectangular cashel (c. 22m NE-SW; c. 21m NW-SE) defined by a stone spread with a later stone wall superimposed in parts and with possible house sites in the SE corner. Templeline church (CL010-087002-), graveyard (CL010-087003-) and ecclesiastical enclosure (CL010-087001-) lie c. 115m to the N on the other side of the reclaimed area.
