The National Monuments Service's description

In trees and rough grazing near the W shore of Coolreash Lough in an area marked ‘Liable to Floods’ on OS mapping. Listed as ‘Fulachta fiadh’ in the RMP (1996), on the basis of a map annotation by Tom Coffey (1994, SMR file). This fulacht fia comprises a grass-covered mound (14m NE-SW; 4.8m NW-SE; H 0.3-0.5m) of small stones which, however, do not appear to be burnt. This is the southernmost of four fulachtaí fia in this area: CL010-171---- c. 80m to the NE, CL010-171002- c. 140m to the NNE and CL010-171003-c. 195m to the N. The monuments are roughly equidistant, averaging c. 65-70m apart.
