The National Monuments Service's description

On uneven, scrub-covered ground on the SE slope of a ridge with improved pasture to E and S. Indicated on both the first edition (1842) and Cassini edition (1920). of the OS 6-inch map. Could not be accurately surveyed on inspection in 1999 due to dense overgrowth and deposited field-clearance material. This subcircular enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 38m E-W) is vaguely traceable in aerial and satellite imagery (Aerial 2004, 2005-2012; Aerial Premium 2013-2018), its perimeter densely overgrown by trees/bushes. A ringfort (CL010-078----) lies c. 230m to the SE and there is an enclosure (CL010-202----) c. 230m to the S
