The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on flat cragland 16m SE from the outermost enclosing wall of Cahercommaun (CL010-064003-). Described by Hencken (1938, 7-8 and Fig. 3) as a ring of stones (diam. 6-7m) with a small souterrain (CL010-064099-) at SW. This was referred to by Westropp (1896, 155) as a 'cloghán'. This is a subcircular hut site (int. diam. 6.2m E-W; 4.9m N-S; max. ext. dims. 9.6m) defined by a collapsed and moss-covered stone wall built of flattish slabs in no particular orientation. The interior is uneven with occasional large stones.
