The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in the NE centre of a cairn (CL010-064028-). This rectangular stone-filled cist (min. 0.85m WNW-ESE; min. 0.92m NNE-SSW) is defined by limestone slabs set upright on their long edges: longer sidestones at the N (L 0.7m; min. H 0.4m; T 0.05m) and S (L 0.85m; min. H 0.5m; T 0.1m), with a transverse endstone (L 0.77m; H 0.45m) set between them near their E ends. The W endstone is not visible. Crude drystone walling marks a continuation of the N wall of the cist to the WNW. Westropp (1913, 249) considered this cist to have been opened by treasure-hunters.
