The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a low-lying area, partly scrub covered. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 the area was found to be covered in rubble from field clearance and reclamation. There was a surviving narrow curving wall of apparently modern construction.
