The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a well-sheltered location along the E edge of a damp marshy area between Templecronan church (CL010-021002-) and a holy well (CL010-021005-). A subcircular cairn (5.8m NE-SW; 3.5m NW-SE; H 0.6-1m) in the N end of a subrectangular enclosure (int. dims. 8m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE) defined by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 4m at W; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.7-0.9m). There is some stone facing at the S end of the W wall. The N portion is formed by a later field boundary and a steep rock face (H 3.5m) forms the E side.
