The National Monuments Service's description
In a low-lying sheltered area on the N slope of a ridge. Hachured on the 1840 OS 6-inch map and indicated on the 1916 ed. Listed as ‘Cairn’ in the RMP (1996). A roughly circular enclosure (est. int. dims. c. 41m N-S; c. 39m E-W) defined by a drystone wall which is slightly straightened in the E extent. Later field walls abut the site at NNW, ENE, SE, SSW and WNW. Another enclosure (CL010-012----) is located c. 73m to the SSW.
