The National Monuments Service's description

On an elevated plateau in pasture within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-001001-). A very irregular enclosure (c. 90m E-W; c. 70m N-S) defined by a grass-over stone wall and visible on Digital Globe (2011-13). Reported to the National Monuments Service by Ros Ó Maoldúin. Later regular NNW-SSE linear field walls cross the enclosure. Another enclosure (CL009-261----) is conjoined at NW.
