The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle W-facing slope on a broad hilltop in an area of rough pasture and hazel scrub and within a large field system (CL009-059001-). A subcircular area (diam. c. 60m). Defined by a bank from N to S visible on OSi MapGenie (2013-2018). The W half of the enclosure is covered in hazel scrub. The boundary between Ballyganner South and Sheshymore runs along the N perimeter. A cairn (CL009-163----) with two cists (CL009-163001- and CL009-163002-) lies c. 50m to the SE. A rectangular enclosure (CL009-164001-) with souterrain (CL009-164----) lies c. 70m to the E. A cashel (CL009-059097-) lies c. 80m to the SE.
