The National Monuments Service's description
At the SE corner of a blackthorn-covered plateau, with very steep slopes (H c. 10m) immediately to the E and S. This poorly preserved subcircular cashel (c. 20m NW-SE; 19.5m NE-SW) is defined from NE to SW by the intermittent remains of a wall base, made of large horizontally laid stones; elsewhere only a bank of tumbled stone (Wth 3m; H 0.5m) marks the perimeter. Another cashel (CL009-056----) lies c. 75m to the ENE.
